Voters Guide

This guide explains how voting works in the Zimbabwe People’s Choice Awards, including eligibility, rewards, and common issues.

Voting Requirements

To vote, you must:

• Have an IBZIM account
• Have a verified phone number on your account

Without a verified phone number, voting will be disabled.

Voter Rewards

By participating in voting, voters can earn:

• Peya Peya Points
• Account badges
• Ranking points for overall IBZIM participation

Rewards are issued immediately after a valid vote is submitted.

Voting Limits and Rules

• You can vote once per award title per season, per account
• Once a vote is submitted, it cannot be changed
• You must wait until the next season to vote again for the same award title

To view your voting history:

• Go to your profile page
• Open the “My Votes” tab to see votes from current and past seasons

How Voting Works

Follow these steps to cast your vote:

1. Visit https://www.ibzim.com  and click the People’s Choice Awards card
   or go directly to:
   https://www.ibzim.com/zimbabwe-peoples-choice-awards 

2. Choose one of the available award categories:

   • Comedy Awards
   • Company Awards
   • School Awards
   • Music Awards
   • Movie Awards
   • Tech Awards

3. Inside each category, select an award title (for example: Best Comedian, Best School).

4. Choose one nominee for that title and submit your vote.

Once submitted, your vote is final for that season and title.

After You Vote

After voting, you will receive:

• Peya Peya Points
• A voting badge
• Ranking points added to your IBZIM account

At the end of each season:

• Your votes reset for the next season
• Previous votes are stored only as aggregated totals for analytics and final winner decisions

Notifications

Voters receive notifications about the performance of nominees they voted for.

• Notifications appear in your IBZIM notifications panel
• Additional notifications are sent to your preferred app:
  • Gmail
  • WhatsApp (recommended)

Notifications are sent at the end of each season.

Fair Voting Rules

To keep voting fair, voters must:

• Not use multiple accounts
• Not sell, trade, or exchange votes

Accounts found violating these rules may lose voting privileges or be disqualified from rewards.
